Khandro T'hug-T'hig Dzogrim Retreat

Aug. 25 – Sept. 5

P’hurba T’hinley Ling, Lansing, IA

Khandro Kunzang will lead a 10-day retreat on the Dzogrim section of the Khandro T’hug-T’hik dakini cycle, according to the Dudjom Tersar. This retreat is for senior students who have completed the Ngondro and are working on the Khandro T’hug-t’hig Ley Jang (Nyenpa and Drubpa) – who have either completed the retreats and mantra accumulation, or are actively working on it; and who are already well versed in the activity practice (Ley Jang). We will not be going over the details of the ritual practice during this retreat, and it is expected that students attending this retreat know how to conduct the ritual tsog, make tormas, set up the mandala, boundary, etc.

In this retreat we will enter into the Dzogrim (anuyoga) section of the cycle, according to the Rim-Nyi Tri’s Profound Yoga of Mantra, and begin to learn the inner and outer tsa-lung practices. The aim of this retreat is to deepen and further the training for those students currently engaged in this dakini cycle, and to prepare for the month-long Khandro T’hug-t’hig Tsa-Lung retreat planned for 2020 (This retreat is a required prerequisite to participate in the retreat in 2020).

Although this retreat is primarily for students who have been practicing this cycle according to Lama Dawa Chhodak Rinpoche’s teachings, we will consider students of other Dudjom teachers, as long as the prerequisites have been met.

You can purchase and English translation of the Rim Nyi Tri here. Otherwise we will be providing our own translations of the texts.

Cost: $500, includes meals and lodging. Suggested donation for teachings at the end: $250. There will be extra costs for texts.

If you are interested in attending this retreat, please fill out the form below and submit it to Khandro Kunzang. She will get back to you for more discussion and details.
